After seeing a dead rabbit Patrick couldn't understand why anyone would want to hurt an animal. I told him that unfortunately there are too many wild rabbits so we have to try and get rid of some of them because they have become a pest. To which he replies, "What.....like Ruby?"'

I was giving Lyla a hard time at lunch because she's constantly fidgeting, getting up, and generally NOT eating (as always). Then she drops her fork on the floor, and I give her that 'look' that I'm getting really annoyed. She turns to me and says, "It's called gravity, Mom."
